Undated Broadcasts Project — The 4,300-Broadcast Milestone Reached
With the completion of This update, the Master Undated Broadcast Resolution Pipeline has officially crossed the 4,300-Broadcast Resolution Milestone, bringing the cumulative project total to 4,322 verified broadcasts across 90 completed updates.
Launching our twelfth major series, Let's Go to Town (10c0cdea-77b7-4eda-9183-33e3d035a79f), this update resolves the first 50 sequential weekly broadcasts (Episodes 1 through 50). Produced by the United States National Guard as a recruiting and morale-boosting musical variety showcase, the series was distributed nationwide on 16-inch transcription discs and hosted by acclaimed actor Mason Adams in his beloved role as Corporal Eddie Carter.
Airing weekly across syndicated stations beginning on January 2, 1954, the program showcases top mid-century Big Band swing and Great American Songbook standards:
