Undated Broadcasts Project — Five Minute Mysteries Launches
Following the full series restoration and audio transcription of fourteen classic series, the Master Undated Broadcast Resolution Pipeline launches our fifteenth major series: Five Minute Mysteries (d0da018b-4e33-4985-80f4-9933b6ca0cf8). This update resolves 50 sequential syndication broadcasts (Episodes 13 through 62).
Produced and syndicated nationally by the Frederic W. Ziv Company from late 1947 through 1950, each five-minute radio feature challenges the listening audience to spot the single fatal flaw in a suspect's alibi before Inspector James reveals the forensic clue:
- Audio-Transcribed Cases (Episodes 13–35): Spanning 1948 syndication releases, episodes include "Zombie" (Inspector James disproves a fabricated supernatural suicide letter through grammatical errors), "Richard Drowned" (staged undertow drowning debunked by medical buoyancy facts), and "The Horse Stable Murder".
- Mid-Century Crime Puzzles (Episodes 36–62): Featuring tight dramatic pacing and musical stings, stories cover jewel heists, counterfeit alibis, and forensic chemistry.
Direct Audio Transcription & Subtitle Verification
In accordance with our strict archival standard, all 44 available audio recordings were directly transcribed using Whisper SPEECH RECOGNITION, generating WebVTT subtitle files and grounding 1-sentence synopses in spoken dialogue with whisper:<sha256> provenance. Missing audio assets remain strictly absent without synthetic filler.
Reaching 4,873 broadcasts resolved across the master project ledger, each entry features verified weekly syndication airdates, clean titles, and verified syndicator credits.
