Undated Broadcasts Project — Cecil and Sally Spring 1930 Sequence
Continuing our deep chronological resolution of the historic 1928–1933 syndicated daily comedy serial Cecil and Sally (starring Johnny Patrick and Helen Troy), This update resolves an additional 50 sequential broadcasts (Sequences 388 through 437, representing Episodes 31 through 80).
Spanning the February through April 1930 broadcast calendar, this run contains foundational story arcs of early broadcast comedy. Among them are the famous pink sweater sequence (Sally knits a garish sweater, Cecil attempts to lose it, feels guilty, and pretends to love it), movie theater parking lot altercations, confession magazine rejections, and the disastrous initial driving lessons where Sally steers their secondhand automobile Ben Hur into a roadside tree.
Reaching 1,439 broadcasts resolved in the master project ledger, each entry features verified historical broadcast dates, standardized comedy taxonomy, and pure narrative synopses.
